Client: State of Colorado, Behavioral Health Administration
I supported the launch of the State of Colorado Behavioral Health Administration’s inaugural Learning Hub — a statewide online education platform serving behavioral health professionals. My role evolved over time from UX governance and quality assurance into project management support for platform strategy and long-term maintenance.
The Portfolio Manager Experience (PME) was a new product built from the ground up to modernize how portfolio managers monitor, analyze, and act on client portfolios. The goal was to replace fragmented, manual workflows with a scalable, event-driven experience.
I served as the Lead UX Designer and Strategist, responsible for defining the UX vision, experience model, and design system foundation.
I joined Verinext as UX Manager to assess, define, and establish a more mature, scalable UX practice within a technology consulting organization. At the time, UX existed in a limited, tactical capacity, without a clear charter, operating model, or consistent integration into delivery teams.
My role focused on evaluating the current state, aligning UX with business and delivery needs, and defining a clear strategic direction for the practice.

About
I’m a UX and product design leader who’s spent 15+ years helping teams untangle complex problems across healthcare, education, finance, government, and nonprofits. I love stepping into ambiguity, finding the signal in the noise, and shaping digital experiences that are clear, accessible, and genuinely useful for the people they’re meant to serve.
