Client:
State of Colorado, Behavioral Health Administration

Overview

I supported the launch of the State of Colorado Behavioral Health Administration’s inaugural Learning Hub — a statewide online education platform serving behavioral health professionals. My role evolved over time from UX governance and quality assurance into project management support for platform strategy and long-term maintenance. The goal was to ensure the platform launched with high quality, accessibility, and a sustainable operational model.

Challenge

As a new statewide learning platform, the Learning Hub faced several risks:
  • No established UX governance or quality standards
  • Rapid course development across multiple contributors

The organization needed structure, quality control, and strategic oversight without slowing delivery.

Results

As a new statewide learning platform, the Learning Hub faced several risks:

  • Consistent quality and accessibility across course releases
  • Reduced rework and post-launch issues
  • Clearer ownership and operational structure
  • A stable foundation for continued platform growth

The organization needed structure, quality control, and strategic oversight without slowing delivery.

Impact

This work helped ensure that a critical statewide education platform launched not only on time, but with the quality, accessibility, and governance required to support behavioral health professionals across Colorado.
